Ben and his team have just finished a major extension to our house including completely new kitchen-diner and two bedrooms. They completed the whole lot in under 7 months. They were friendly, punctual, professional and helpful at all times. Ben carefully explained everything and consulted us as required, as the work progressed. He was at some pains to carefully design the whole process so that we did not have to move out at any point. The end result is of the very highest quality. I recommend 5Ashes to anyone without hesitation.

An absolutely fantastic job on our extension, with work carried out to a very high standard. The team were also very friendly and amenable to the point that we actually miss them being here! We would not hesitate to contact them again for any future building work. Could not have been better, and we recommend them highly.

We wanted a garden room, remodelled kitchen, with bedroom into the attic. Five Ashes gave us much more, they made the new rooms more like a palace and we absolutely love the finished work. This was not a short job, Ben and his very hardworking team spent 6 months with us. In all that time they put us first making sure we could live in our home even with the major work being carried out. All through Ben kept the job clean and tidy and made sure we understood every step of the process. The finished work is to a very high standard we have not found one thing we could not say ‘perfect’ to. We are more than happy with the work, workmanship and hardworking team. Should we have any other projects we would not hesitate to ask Ben to carry out the work and would recommend him to others

Reliable, punctual, very hard working and clearly took great pride in all the work carried out. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Throughout the building project Ben kept us fully informed and aware of progress and any matters that would require a decision from us. When necessary he would provide us with a number of alternatives and always showed a sound engineering judgement in his recommendations.

Health and safety legislation was complied with: appropriate use of hard hats, hearing and eye protection. It was a pleasure having a reliable, pleasant and extremely competent builder on the project.

We are delighted with the building and his craftsmanship: and we would not hesitate to employ him again or recommend his services.

We were delighted that Five Ashes Building and Carpentry Ltd were able to undertake building our extension. Ben was very hardworking, approachable, reliable and very importantly tidy! He kept us informed of progress on the build and answered any concerns we had promptly and professionally.

We have recommended them to our friends and family and they too have been very pleased with the results.
